About The Author

Hazel Gaynor is a bestselling author of historical fiction and fantasy who lives in Ireland. She was born in England in 1971 and graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Business Studies. She worked in professional services before becoming a writer after losing her job in 2008.

Her first novel, The Girl Who Came Home, was based on the true story of Irish emigrants on the Titanic and won the 2015 Romantic Novelists’ Association Historical Novel of the Year award.
