About The Author

Hazel Gaynor is a bestselling author of historical fiction and fantasy novels. She was born in Driffield, East Riding of Yorkshire, England, in 1971 and graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Business Studies.

She moved to Ireland in 2001 and lives in Kilcullen, County Kildare, with her husband and two sons. She started her writing career as a blogger and self-published her first novel, The Girl Who Came Home, based on the true story of Irish emigrants on the Titanic, in 2012.
